DAILY NANCY UPDATE #35

Greetings.

This is the thirty-fifth in a series of DAILY NANCY UPDATES I will be posting until the amazing Nancy Neufeld Callaway is in full remission and we have kicked her leukemia on its ass.

BREAKING NEWS

We missed a day yesterday. Not of life, or work, mind you. But the blog. First time in almost 40 days since Nancy was first diagnosed. Sorry. We were tired. Nancy is still trying to heal and get past the unfortunate side effects of her various spinal procedures. And after the premiere party for the show Monday night-- I woke up feeling pretty crappy too, yesterday. Not leukemia crappy, mind you. But crappy enough to miss the window for blogging. Plus I had to teach class last night. Anyway, whatever. We missed a post.

Here's a picture of some geese to make you feel better.

Why geese? Because after dropping the boys at school this morning-- instead of immediately going to the office and plopping back down in front of the computer-- I took a walk around the Sepulveda Dam with my good friend Rick. It was pretty. It was peaceful. Most of all, it let me focus on other things. Like geese. And a bunny. And some squirrels. I even saw a lady walking two dogs and a muthafreakin' goat. Thanks, Rick.

Meanwhile, Nancy had a nice breakfast, took a nap, made some phone calls to other people who've won their battles against A.L.L., and then hit the treadmill, because she's the Sunshiny Superwarrior Goddess.

Now I'm gonna make her some lunch, watch a cut of the show, and see my son play soccer a game.

So there. Another life-changing blogpost.
Don't you wish you'd spent this time checking Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, or Instagram?
Regardless... two things remain steadfast and true.

WE LOVE NANCY and...

ALL IS WELL!
