DAILY NANCY UPDATE #29

Greetings.

This is the twenty-ninth in a series of DAILY NANCY UPDATES I will be posting until the amazing Nancy Neufeld Callaway is in full remission and we have kicked her leukemia on its ass.

If you'd like to be automatically notified of updates to this blog-- just enter your email address in the window on the right beneath Nancy's picture and follow the prompts!

BREAKING NEWS

We're back at UCLA's Outpatient Oncology Clinic for a round of blood tests, a doctor consult, and intrathecal chemo. So far, Nancy's numbers look great and her immune system is functioning strong-- so hopefully the creeping crud that hit me and Cosmo (we're both feeling much better, by the way) will stay far away from her.

HEADLINES

Speaking of Cosmo-- today's his 13th birthday! So in keeping with family tradition-- Nance and I were still up early, masks on, preparing his breakfast in bed. Hard to believe we have three teenagers in our family now.

TODAY'S HURDLE

Using ultrasound to guide them, doctors will be injecting meds directly into Nancy's spine this afternoon (AKA intrathecal chemo). We appreciate you keeping her in your thoughts and prayers.

WE LOVE NANCY and...

ALL IS WELL!

  3. Anxious to hear how it went yesterday! I'm here if you're ever willing to take a break from a UCLA visit. I'd love spending the day with Nanc.
