Greetings.
This is the ninety-second in a series of DAILY NANCY UPDATES I will be posting until the amazing Nancy Neufeld Callaway is in full remission and we have kicked her leukemia on its ass.

BREAKING NEWS
This is a difficult update.
Last night, Nancy had a major seizure in the middle of the night and was moved to the ICU at City of Hope. Her sodium levels had crashed to dangerously low levels (which causes seizures) and her doctors suspect that may have been a side-effect of either the virus she's fighting, the strong medication used to fight it, or both.
At any rate, she has been generally unresponsive since then. But the good news is, after performing a CT scan, EEG panel, and an MRI today (the latter of which we can compare to another one she had last week), her brain function appears normal. Still, the doctors are telling us it may be 24-48 hours before she gradually comes back "online."
In short, it's been a very long night and day for all of us-- so your extra good thoughts and prayers would be extremely appreciated. More details as they become available.
WE LOVE NANCY, and...
Sending love, light, strength, prayers, healing energy and everything & anything that's positive. ππππ❤️π☀️π¦πΊπ»
ReplyDeleteI would like to think of this as a rest period as she's been suffering so much and as long as all systems are working and this is a shortttttttttttttt respite then she will be responsive, out of pain, rested and the SSWG will be going towards full speed ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sending love and light! xx00
